Calling all Class of 2039 families! Kindergarten registration for the 2026-27 school year will be available online beginning Sunday, March 1. Brentwood offers free full-day kindergarten at both Mark Twain and McGrath elementary schools.

In accordance with Missouri Senate Bill No. 572, children must be 5 years old before Aug. 1 to attend kindergarten. Students may only be registered by a parent or court-appointed legal guardian. If you need help determining your student’s school, please call 314-962-4507.

Early registration is essential for planning and staffing, as it helps the district determine class sizes, allocate resources and ensure a smooth transition for incoming students. Families are encouraged to complete the process as soon as possible to assist with these preparations and ensure their child is ready for kindergarten on the first day of school.
