Brentwood is partnering with Oasis Intergenerational Tutoring to provide community members with an opportunity to support young readers through one-on-one tutoring and mentoring.

The program pairs trained volunteers with students in kindergarten through third grade to help build reading, writing and communication skills while fostering confidence, connection and a love of learning.

Oasis tutors meet with the same student each week during the school day at either Mark Twain or McGrath. No teaching experience is required, and training and ongoing support are provided through Oasis.
