Brentwood Chili Cook-Off Serves Up Flavor, Fun and Community Spirit
Brentwood's annual Chili Cook-Off brought students, staff and families together on Jan. 23 for an evening of friendly competition, delicious samples and community fun — all in support of a great cause.
Thanks to the generosity of participants and attendees, the event raised $1,243 to support a local charity. Congratulations to this year's top chili winners:
- First Place: Chili Wonka by Miles Schulz
- Second Place: Dad's Beef and Bean Chili by Cari Wegge
- Third Place: Bean There, Done That! by Lori Ehlert
A special thank-you to the Brentwood High School National Honor Society and Brentwood Middle School National Junior Honor Society for organizing another successful event, and to everyone who entered a chili, volunteered or stopped by to sample.
We can't wait to see what's cooking next year!
